Future of the Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo

Good morning! I'm reaching out to address some concerns from the Sanctuary Update posted in the members forum on the Covenant of Hekate website yesterday. Over the years I have worked very closely with Sorita (without whom none of this would be possible) and moved up in the Covenant. I started as a devotee and rose up to the position of Keybearer. I have worked to graduate other Torchbearers as well as worked as the social media and Web Manager.
Over the last 6 years I have started several projects and looked to our membership to step up and join in with limited success. This is not unique to the CoH. This goes on in most areas where "volunteers" are needed. I find myself spending more time focusing on convincing others to complete their commitments than I do on things that I enjoy.
So that I do not lose myself in this and with the current state of affairs in the US, my time is precious and my joys few and far between. So I have come to the difficult decision to close the Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo and move to the position of Companion.
In this new role I will be an advisor and offer suggestions to the Covenant. I will maintain my role as Web Manager and will complete the following projects:
Keep the Fires Burning - Rite of Her Sacred Fires Anthology
Class of 2024 Torchbearer Mentorship
Covenant of Hekate Shirts/Hoodies - Link
Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo Website Blog
The following projects are now closed due to lack of participation:
Keybearer Commitment - Stories of the Sanctuaries
Keybearer Commitment - Stories of the Covenant
Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo - CoH Membership Center
Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo Vlog
Sanctuary of Hecate Brimo
The website and all programs will remain active through the renewal of my Wix contract. I "may" end up renaming the site or taking it in other directions.
Just to reiterate, the current class for the Hecate Brimo Torchbearer Membership will be followed to completion. I simply cannot continue to do this without the support of the community. Sorita has been amazing through this whole process who continues to support me and this community triumphantly through all the challenges she has had to face over the years. I stand in awe of her strength and I will continue to work with her in whatever capacity she needs from me.
You will continue to see other activities, including my blogs that are already scheduled for the year on this site.
Please reach out directly with questions or concerns.
Blessings,
Rev. Renee Sosanna Olson
